Reduce your obstacles and accomplish your goals
Posted by: | CommentsMaster and manage these changing times. Come out ahead by reflecting for a moment on the past and utilizing your strengths and minimizing your weaknesses. Change is synonymous with opportunity. You can make the most of these difficult times by evaluating your strengths and weaknesses and using the appropriate avenues to take advantage and maximize opportunities.
The challenges we face are not always entangled in negative obstacles, but how we view them and utilize our judgment to create successful opportunities defines us. Creating an avenue with the least amount of stress and resistance will enhance your convictions and emphasize your strengths. When you begin to remove negative thinking and stress and keep focus on the positive and your goals you will find yourself in rhythm with what is right and less obstacles will emerge.
A return to basic fundamentals

This is definitely not the best year or decade for speculating and those that took high risks have seen huge losses. Who is to blame? We have become a basic gullible society driven by emotion and hysteria. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to return to basic fundamentals. If you have $100.00 in the bank and a $10,000.00 credit limit on a credit card you don’t actually have $10,100.00 so quit acting like you do at home or in business.
We have been living on borrowed money, robbing Peter to pay Paul and now Peter and Paul are both broke and out of desperation we are going to see them stealing from us so keep your eyes open and your wallets locked up. If you make less than your spending you can’t count on your assets to leverage and use “funny” money to continue with out of control spending. We need to spend less than we make and we need to begin saving for hard times because hard times are here and they may be sticking around for awhile.
It is time to return to basic fundamentals. If you have to start from scratch then do so and keep scratching. This period of time has become one of the most challenging for all of us. Reviewing the historical lessons on the great depression and all between then and now shows us falling prey to speculators as fundamentals were lost was our demise.
These are desperate times and there are a lot of desperate people out there and each of them have a scam that will appeal to the emotional side of any one of us. If something is not right walk away and if it’s a deal too good to be true it probably is, so don’t take it. The internet has created an entire new avenue for concern as our lives have become open books accessable to many people in many countries and they are not all good people out there so be cautious as the crooks are even more desperate.
Know what will make you fundamentally strong. Know your foundation and build it slowly and methodically. Keep your emotions out of you business and personal decision making and focus on necessities. By being fundamentally sound you will attract more in your life and the confidence you will exuberate will be appealing and have sustainability.
If you’re going to gamble or speculate only do it with money you can afford to lose.
Appreciation shifts perspectives and solves problems
Posted by: | CommentsAppreciation for what we know and have especially during these difficult times will shift your perspective and open up solutions you failed to previously recognize. The challenges and obstacles we face during hardships need influence of gratefulness and complete appreciation there is good in almost everything. The tighter we hold on to things the more difficult it is to accept circumstances beyond our control, so start with letting go of what you think you know and being open to a new experience.
Many people and entire communities are silently hurting and ignoring options for help with their issues. Their ego’s are blocking options for help. No matter how dire your situation there is help and working with someone who can expose you to those options takes the first step of getting out of the way of yourself and asking.
We don’t have the liberty of driving in circles trying to find a location anymore. The liberty of wasting gas, time, effort as well as the emotional energy is too much with all the rest happening in our lives. It makes more sense to just stop and get it figured out and ask for help. Sometimes it is best to go back to start and begin all over again.
Communication is often difficult when we feel like we failed. Reaching out and asking for help is a challenge for many people not just you. Whatever your situation is, I’m sure I personally could tell you ones that are worse. And even though I can’t say I’ve heard it all I will tell you that the stories I have heard are heartbreaking and personal. So know that you’re not alone and you’ll be amazed what a bit of courage and heart will do to turn things around.
You can start appreciating your own need for help and shift your perspective towards new and better solutions to your problems. I am one of thousands of people out there who have resources to help. If your lost on a road or in life don’t hesitate to reach out for help. I promise if you have an issue there is a solution no matter how grave your situation.
You’ve also got to focus your energy on achieving your goals and if your blocked don’t give up hope. Pushing through obstacles and appreciating what you have while handling what is challenging will bring new excitement and celebration back to your life. Well-planned actions now can result in both personal and financial growth in the future if the small picture is too grim let’s build a big picture that is beautiful and attainable.
If things are really bad start with a penny and appreciate having a penny and move from there. From now through the end of this year we will provide solutions and options as a gift to any one obstacle you face so do not hesitate to break your silence and contact us.
Job Hunting? Who deserves you?
Posted by: | CommentsLooking for work make a list of who deserves you? Now that you have a list learn everything you can about the company, their employees and their mission and make sure you still believe they would make a mistake not hiring you. Once you have determined they do deserve you it is time to go after what you want.
Start with your family, friends and contact list including recruiters to see who may have a connection within the corporation your seeking employment and start campaigning. Once you have exhausted those efforts it doesn’t hurt to start cold calling. Make sure that your name is on the short list and in front of them at decision time. Don’t ease up on your efforts even if you have to take something else short-term to meet your immediate needs.
Be persistent without being a nuisance. This is best done by strategizing ahead of time. Develop a plan, talk it over with your mentor, coach or recruiter and stick with it until you have proven that your target companies deserve you and you will make a positive difference to their bottom line. Build a business plan for this dream job and even a job description if it doesn’t exist, don’t give away your entire hand but intrigue them enough to call you in to talk more about the ideas you sent over.
I often say that one of the most important persons in a company is the one answering the phone. In recent years the automated phone answering has driven people nuts. In fact there are websites that give phone numbers and extensions to help you get to a real person. The practicality of this may have been necessary but the impersonalness of it has been irritating. Getting a real person on the phone when you call a company, one who is friendly and helpful and knows exactly where to direct the call and is able to answer your questions is a missing element that has added to the disconnect in this digital society. We need to start connecting again.
So, when your answering your own phone answer it well and professionally at all times. If someone is irritating you with a solicitation say thank you, but no thank you – it just might be a bait to see how you act on the phone.
This is a numbers game so make sure you have some options. The more options you have (that you can manage) the better your chances. What is your conversion rate on interviews? Most my clients have a 100% conversion rate. If they land an interview they get hired. What is it that gives them the edge over others? Preparation, practice and confidence. They know before they go into the interview that the company they want to work for deserves them and they can easily convey that message because of the preparation work they have done. These well prepared clients captivate when they get in front of the goal and their confidence and homework empowers and imresses their audience and they score.
Now make a list, write the detailed description of your dream job and know you will land it!
